Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced a free summer symposium presenting the latest developments in laboratory products, taking place 7 June 2011 in the QEII Conference centre in Westminster, London.
Following the success of last year's event, the Summer Symposium returns in 2011 with a broader scope, designed to offer something for all scientific researchers.
Space is limited, so registration through the company's website is recommended to guarantee a place.
The symposium will include presentations from scientists within Thermo Fisher, as well as customers representing organisations that use Thermo Scientific products and equipment in their daily research.
The symposium will commence with an open plenary session to introduce participants to the Thermo Scientific brand.
The remainder of the event will include parallel sessions that feature independent speakers discussing recent technology and application developments.
Session topics will include cell culture and biobanking; clinical and toxicology; environmental and food safety; life sciences and biotechnology; and materials characterisation and testing.
Thermo Fisher representatives will be available throughout the day to discuss technical questions.
A parallel exhibition will showcase the latest Thermo Scientific products from across the company, including scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, microbiology and cellomics, as well as related products from selected third-party suppliers.
Attendance is free to registrants on a first-come-first-served basis.
