Scientific instrument manufacturer appoints new distributors in Europe, America, Singapore, and Japan to enhance sales and customer support for its spectrophotometers
Scientific instrument manufacturer Aquila Instruments has appointed new distributors in Europe, America, Singapore, and Japan to enhance sales and customer support for its NKD spectrophotometer series.
The NKD, a purpose built desktop instrument for precision analysis and measurement of thin film coatings, has been purchased by blue chip companies around the world, and by academic institutions, including the Universities of Salford and Durham in the UK and ITU in Turkey.
The latest model, the NKD-8000 spectrophotometer, is widely recognised as a leading-edge instrument that incorporates many advanced features to cater for a wide range of applications.
These include the measurement of coatings used on architectural glass, the characterisation of optical coatings for laser applications and the measurement of thin films used in the development of flat panel displays.
David Lovering, managing director of Aquila, said: "We are fortunate to have a rapidly-growing base of companies using the nkd across the world.
"To further Aquila's expansion, we selected new distributors who have the experience and support capabilities in the area of scientific instrumentation.
"After careful deliberation, we chose only distributors in whom we had the confidence to provide existing and new customers with the highest levels of service".
Sales support for Aquila's products is now available in the UK, Benelux, France, China, Russia, Germany, India, Italy, USA, Japan, South Korea, Israel, Turkey, Taiwan, Australia, Finland, South America, Vietnam, Cyprus, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.
