Flash chromatography pump can be easily integrated into customer's existing pressurised flash chromatography systems, providing better solvent control and gradient capability
UK based Science Marketing International (SMI) has introduced a new pump for flash chromatography systems.
Manufactured by Gyan, the EasiPump can be easily integrated into customer's existing pressurised flash chromatography systems, providing better solvent control and gradient capability.
The EasiPump will mix solvents on the fly so providing precise mixtures which eliminate the need to pre-mix isocratic solvents.
This reduces wastage and hence cost.
As many of the solvents used in flash chromatography are inflammable, the EasiPump has a number of in-built safety features.
Solvents are isolated from the electronics by a magnetic coupling between the motor and the pump head.
Should the back pressure limit be exceeded the magnetic coupling will slip, so reducing the likelihood of hazardous solvents leaking.
The EasiPump is easy to program and offers a precise and accurate flow rate.
It is available in isocratic or gradient versions with high and low flow rate options.
