Built-in integration algorithm uses real-time baseline slope measurement to find peaks and properly divert them to waste without requiring operator intervention
Science Marketing International (SMI) introduced a new HPLC solvent recycling system - the SolventTrak II - on its booth at Pittcon.
Manufactured by Axxiom Chromatography, the SolventTrak II differs from, and surpasses, other solvent recyclers in two significant ways: It has a built-in integration algorithm which uses real-time baseline slope measurement to find peaks and properly divert them to waste, even under changing baseline or run conditions, without resetting thresholds and without requiring operator intervention.
It is the only solvent recycler whose performance can truly be validated, run-by-run, because it automatically produces a permanent visual record of the precise point where every peak is detected during each chromatogram.
SMI is currently offering the SolventTrak II at a special introductory price, which can be recovered within just a few months operation with routine isocratic HPLC systems.
Not only will use of the SolventTrak reduce HPLC system operation costs, it will also reduce solvent disposal headaches.
An environmentally-friendly product which will also appeal to the company accountant.
SolventTrak II is compatible with all types of HPLC systems and versions can accept flow rates up to 120mls/min.
