Filters offer pressure rated to 90psi, sealing ring which minimises bursting and leakage, and chemically resistant polypropylene housings
Science Marketing International has introduced Titan2, a new range of syringe filters that are tested and validated for HPLC. Building on the success of the original Titan product, Titan2, manufactured by Sun, has been improved to offer exceptional features that ensure uninterrupted performance.
All Titan2 filters offer pressure rated to 90psi for 'unsurpassed' integrity, sealing ring which minimises bursting and leakage, and chemically resistant polypropylene housings.
Titan2 are colour-coded to make identification easy.
They are available with seven different membranes and in three different sizes (30mm, 17mm and 4mm) to ensure a perfect match for any application.
Each batch of Titan2 syringe filters is quality controlled and tested by HPLC for reproducibility to ensure that they meet very tight RSDs in peak area, height and shape as well as an extractable-free baseline.
In addition to HPLC validation, all the filters have to pass strict tests for the membrane and housing integrity as well as other standard tests such as pore size, flow rate and chemical compatibility.
Each container of filters is labelled with the manufacturing batch and test number to ensure that the filters are manufactured to the highest quality standards and to guarantee batch-to-batch reproducibility.
