Testing the toughness of materials will be the subject of a one day seminar organised by Namtec in conjunction with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
Industry experts will introduce delegates to Charpy impact testing, fracture toughness testing, engineering critical assessments and relevant standards, as well as presenting case studies.
The seminar will also include a tour of the mechanical testing facilities at the Corus RD and T Swinden Laboratories in Rotherham.
