Software 'is set to revolutionise' screening workflow, offering superior template design flexibility and facilitating incorporation of bespoke business rules for data verification
IDBS announced the launch of ActivityBase Xtended Edition (ActivityBase XE) at the 11th annual SBS meeting in Geneva.
It says ActivityBase XE is set to revolutionise screening workflow, offering superior template design flexibility and facilitating incorporation of bespoke business rules for data verification.
IDBS is a provider of discovery data management software, including ActivityBase, which it says is the industry standard screening software.
The release of the XE module for ActivityBase offers screening scientists a single environment for data capture, visualisation, verification, quality control and storage.
Independence from third-party spreadsheet packages enables XE to rapidly return results calculations, while the use of open standard architecture (XML) means that calculations are free of proprietary formats.
ActivityBase XE addresses the constantly evolving challenges faced by today's screening community, it says.
Neil Kipling, chairman and CEO of IDBS, said: "We have always innovated to develop cutting edge software that stands the test of time.
"We have created the best in screening systems currently available".
"XE is yet another example of this - we anticipated the market demand for greater efficiencies in UHTS and took the lead in answering this call.
"More and more companies are demanding the functionality that is standard in XE to drive their screening campaigns".
