SPIE and Lauren Publishing have announced that Headwall Photonics was named as a finalist for the 2009 Prism Award in the Sensing and Imaging Systems category.
The Prism Award honours companies and products around the world that demonstrate the highest degree of innovation in the field of photonics.
Headwall was recognised for development and deployment of the Hyperspec Starter Kit, an instrument solution comprised of a hyperspectral imaging sensor, image acquisition and rendering software, translation stages, and illumination components that allow customers to rapidly and cost-effectively implement hyperspectral technology in life science and industrial application environments.
Category winners in each of the categories will be presented with their awards on 28 January at the Photonics West Conference.
