Labcaire's latest range of Aura filtration fume cupboards meet the latest British Standard, and require no external duct connection
Labcaire's Aura cabinets contain fumes to new levels Labcaire's latest range of Aura filtration fume cupboards protects workers and the environment to unequalled levels for the efficient containment of fume hazards in the laboratory.
The units meets the very latest British Standard 7989 requirements for recirculating fume cupboard design.
Using air recirculation technology, the Aura range is easy to install where connections to external ductwork are not practical or economical.
Rather than expelling fumes to the environment, the system passes air through a deep carbon filter to adsorb fumes completely within the cabinet before venting clean air safely back into the laboratory. The Aura benefits all laboratories requiring COSHH safety, whether in chemistry research, education, hospital pathology, forensic and more.
Labcaire can include HEPA filters, to remove 0.3m size particulates for powder handling protection, or extra carbon filters for clean room technology use in the electronics and engineering industries.
The cabinets use integrated monitoring and internal sensors to maximise operational efficiency during operation.
The air speed through the cabinet, or Face Velocity, exceeds the industry standard 0.5 metres/second for high performance, and an extra large fixed height aperture increases accessibility.
There are three standard sizes and Labcaire can adapt models to suit particular needs.
